In 2020, I began a blog to help people grow closer to the Lord. It resided on an unpublished website called “Overcoming.” 

 

As the years passed and I began in-person vocational ministry experience, the Lord revised my vision for “Overcoming.” Then, in the middle of 2023, I began rebranding. I published this website, created a Christian t-shirt, and got my Ministry License to travel & speak. 

 

The final step was nailing down a name, mission, and vision for this newfound ministry. Represent Light was birthed through prayerful consideration and hours of writing down possible names.

I landed on Represent Light because, all along, the underlying goal of this ministry was to help people represent the Light of Christ 24/7. Christ commands us to go into all nations & make disciples. This doesn’t happen primarily within the church building; it happens by going into communities. Believers’ lives are often one’s first glance at the Gospel - what do our lives communicate to them about God?
